TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Business Information

YARÁ Spa & Skin Care operates under the legal entity YARÁ Spa & Skin Inc., located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

By accessing our website, booking services, or purchasing products, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2. Appointments & Booking Policy

  • Appointments must be booked online or directly through YARÁ.

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit may be required to secure appointments, packages, or event bookings.

  • Remaining balances are due at the time of service.

  • Appointment times are reserved specifically for you. Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time without price adjustment.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule appointments.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours may result in deposit forfeiture.

  • No-shows may be charged up to 100% of the service value.

  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may require full prepayment for future bookings.

For Bachelorette or Group Events:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Final guest count must be confirmed prior to event date.

  • Changes within 5 days of the event may not be accommodated.

4. Refund Policy (Services)

All services provided by YARÁ Spa & Skin Care are non-refundable once rendered.

We are committed to client satisfaction. If you have concerns, please notify us within 48 hours of your appointment so we may review the matter.

5. Retail Product Policy

Due to hygiene and safety standards:

  • Opened skincare products are non-refundable.

  • Unopened products may be eligible for exchange within 7 days with proof of purchase.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.

6. Allergies & Medical Disclosure

Clients are responsible for disclosing:

  • Allergies

  • Medical conditions

  • Pregnancy

  • Medications (including retinol, Accutane, etc.)

YARÁ Spa & Skin Care is not liable for adverse reactions where proper disclosure was not provided.

Patch testing is available upon request.

7. Treatment Results Disclaimer

Individual results vary. While we aim to deliver optimal outcomes, YARÁ Spa & Skin Care does not guarantee specific results.

Skincare outcomes depend on:

  • Client skin type

  • Homecare compliance

  • Lifestyle factors

  • Underlying conditions

8. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by Alberta law:

YARÁ Spa & Skin Care shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages

  • Allergic reactions not disclosed

  • Personal belongings lost or damaged on premises

Clients receive treatments at their own informed consent.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, product formulations, photography, logos, and marketing materials are property of YARÁ Spa & Skin Inc.

Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or use is strictly prohibited.

10. Pricing & Modifications

YARÁ Spa & Skin Care reserves the right to:

  • Adjust pricing at any time

  • Modify services or packages

  • Refuse service when necessary

Prices listed online are subject to change without notice.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Personal information collected during booking or consultation is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes shall be resolved in Edmonton, Alberta.
