1. General Information

YARÁ Spa & Skin is a small, Edmonton-based skincare service providing facial treatments, customized consultations, and natural skin rejuvenation services. These Terms apply to all clients, users, and visitors of our website and services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page.

2. Services & Consultations

All treatments are performed based on your individual skin needs and the information you provide during consultation.

We prioritize safety, intention, and professionalism in every service.

Results vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, and home-care routine.

YARÁ Spa & Skin does not offer medical or dermatological services and does not diagnose or treat medical skin conditions.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

By booking with us, you confirm that:

All information you provide about your skin, allergies, medications, and health history is accurate.

You will follow all pre-treatment and after-care instructions when provided.

You understand that certain treatments may not be suitable for all skin types.

You are at least 18 years old, or you have parental/guardian consent.

4. Payments & Pricing

Prices listed on our website, booking page, or marketing materials are subject to change without notice.

Payments can be made in person, via e-transfer, or through our approved online payment systems.

Gift cards and vouchers must be presented at the time of service.

All sales on services, bundles, products, and gift certificates are final unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows

To protect our time and ensure availability for other clients:

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours) may be charged up to 50% of the service cost.

No-shows may be charged 100% of the service cost before future bookings are accepted.

6. Health, Safety & Liability

YARÁ Spa & Skin maintains strict hygiene and sanitation standards.

Clients must disclose allergies, medications (including retinoids), medical conditions, or recent cosmetic procedures.

YARÁ Spa & Skin is not responsible for reactions caused by undisclosed health information or sensitivities.

By receiving any service, you accept full responsibility for the risks associated with skincare treatments.

7. Products & Home Care

Products sold or recommended are for personal use only.

Results depend on individual skin response and consistency of at-home routine.

If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and contact us for support.

8. Photography & Media

Before-and-after photos may be taken only with your consent.

We will never post or share your photos publicly without written permission.

You may decline photography completely.

9. Privacy & Personal Data

Your privacy is extremely important to us.

Information collected during booking or consultations is kept confidential and used only to provide services.

Online data is secured through Wix’s encrypted systems.

We do not sell, trade, or share client information under any circumstances.

10. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable.

They may be redeemed only for YARÁ Spa & Skin services or products.

Lost or stolen certificates cannot be replaced.

11. Website Use

By accessing yaraskin.ca, you agree not to:

Copy, distribute, or reuse any website content without permission

Interfere with website security or normal function

Use our content for commercial purposes without written approval

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Any liability is limited strictly to the cost of the service performed.
