Customer Guidelines

1. Booking Guidelines

  • All appointments can be booked through website, Instagram, phone, or text.

  • Please double-check your appointment date and time.

  • If you have any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions, let us know before your appointment.

  • Some treatments require client readiness (no makeup, avoid actives, etc.).

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Please provide 24–48 hours notice for cancellations or changes.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee.

  • Repeated no-shows may require prepayment for future bookings.

3. Arrival & Late Policy

  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in.

  • If you are more than 10–15 minutes late, your treatment may be shortened or rescheduled to respect other clients’ time.

4. Before Your Appointment

  • Arrive with clean skin (if possible, no makeup).

  • Avoid retinol, AHA/BHA exfoliants, or harsh products 24–48 hours before a facial.

  • Avoid direct sun or tanning before brightening or resurfacing treatments.

  • Inform us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or using strong topical medications.

5. Aftercare Guidelines

  • Avoid intense heat, sweating, saunas, and workouts for 24 hours.

  • Do not exfoliate for 48 hours.

  • Follow the personalized product recommendations after your treatment.

  • Wear SPF after brightening or Vitamin C treatments.

6. Privacy & Consent

  • All personal information and skin assessments are confidential.

  • Photos are taken only with your permission and never shared without consent.

  • Intake and consent forms may be required for certain treatments.

7. Safety & Health

  • If you feel unwell, please reschedule.

  • We cannot perform treatments over:

    • active infections

    • open wounds

    • severe irritation

    • contagious conditions

  • Our tools and surfaces are fully sanitized between each client.

8. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Payments are accepted via e-transfer, card, cash, or website.

  • Services are non-refundable.

  • Product exchanges allowed if unopened or if a reaction occurs (within a set time frame).

9. Respect & Professional Boundaries

  • YARÁ Spa & Skin is a safe, respectful environment.

  • Any inappropriate behavior results in immediate termination of service.
